Circumstances: In 1984 he had been living in Colorado, but at the time of his disappearance was in Georgia. On 8/4/1984 at 9 pm he left, stating he was driving to Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Atlanta and would return that night, but did not return. At 3 AM 8/5/84, vehicle was parked on I-59 southbound interstate outside Birmingham, Alabama. Individual driving vehicle was ticketed, with ticket written to David Cunningham. However, when the officer was contacted 2 weeks later, he could not remember or confirm if driver was David. Neither he nor the car has been seen since.
