Circumstances: Jesse and a female friend went missing together. They were last seen late the night of Feb. 6, 1959, when they dropped off a friend after attending a party. Work's convertible was found abandoned on a dirt road near Hemet the next day. A man confessed to the murder of both teens and the body of the girlfriend was found but Jesse's body has yet to be recovered.
