Circumstances: Shane Neuhaus was last seen during the early summer months of 2003, in the Highland County area. He may have contacts in the Jacksonville, Florida area. Shane worked for Michael Fogt. Fogt has been charged with 2 counts of murder for the deaths of Cynthia Pickens and Martha A. Behymer, the mother of his 14-year-old daughter. Pickens' body was found buried under the concrete floor of Fogt's auto body shop while detectives were searching for Shane's body. Behymer's body was found buried in a 55 gallon drum under a concrete slab next to the driveway of one of his relative's homes.
Shawn Deardoff was arraigned on a felonious-assault charge, accused of beating Neuhaus on the last day anyone remembers seeing him. Deardoff had been a friend of Shane's. (www.nampn.org)
