Circumstances: On March 30, 2006, Smith was seen driving her boyfriend's blue Dodge Durango at the VFW post in the 5400 block of Summit Street in Toledo, Ohio between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, Smith did not report for work at the Toledo Yacht Club. About a week after her disappearance, the Durango was found abandoned in the 1500 block of Brooke Park Drive. She left behind her purse, cell phone, and other belongings.
