Circumstances: Mr McEntire was last seen by family members on October 8, 2005 as he was leaving his residence. He was carrying a shotgun. His vehicle was subsequently found in the parking lot of his business, located just a few miles away on State Route 209 in Chestnuthill, Monroe County, but there was no sign of him. He has not been seen nor heard from since.
Authorities say the remains of David W. McEntire may have been disposed of near Harry's U-Pull-It in Hazle Township.

A person came forward, claiming they were in the home where McEntire was beaten and slain. The informant knew details of the crime not previously released.
