Circumstances: Janyce was last seen by her family at a local hospital while living with her sister, Karen Ofstead. She contacted her daughter, Renee Jolissaint, and said she was living in a homeless shelter in Dallas in 2001. The shelter contacted Renee in 2001 and said Janyce had been removed and arrested by the police. It is also believed that she was in Chicago in 2003.
