Circumstances: Patrick moved from California to Charlottesville, Virginia in December 1985 to begin a doctoral program at the University of Virginia which started in January 1986 - He lived off campus in a basement apartment on Montrose Avenue - On April 4, 1986 a fellow student realized that he had not seen Pat for awhile. He pinpointed down that Pat had not been seen since the afternoon of Friday, March 21st, 1986 - 2 weeks earlier was the last time anyone had seen Pat. His backpack was later found on his desk in Jordan Hall- Room 4-86 where he was assigned a desk. The room was shared with other Grad Students (Jordan hall was a 2 mile commute from his apartment). In the backpack was his drivers license, a black wallet with no cash, his student ID, his keys and his glasses. Back at his apartment; His car was parked on the street with his 2 bicycles inside. Inside the apartment, officers found his Visa card and checkbook. There was long-thawed meat in the kitchen. There have been no confirmed sightings since and his family has never heard froom him again. Foul Play is suspected.
