Last seen alive:
February 28, 2010 at 16:01
Circumstances:
Shelley was last seen between 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28 as she dropped off their 6-year-old daughter Lilly at her ex husband’s home. (Tyler Mook), officials said. Boyce said Monday that Tyler has since moved from that residence. Lilly is being cared for by other family members. There is a history of abuse against Tyler, her ex-husband from previous incidents. Shelley was bound for Murfreesboro, TN to meet a maintenance worker at a home where investigators said she had moved over the weekend. Shelley's burned Pontiac Grand Prix was found southeast of Murfreesboro off U.S. 41A late that night. Firefighters didn't find anyone in the car, and it wasn't until a couple of days later and after Shelley's ex-husband, Tyler, reported her missing did police realize that the car belonged to Shelley.
According to investigators, Tyler walked into the sheriff's department on Feb. 29 because she didn't come back to pick up her daughter.
Detectives have since searched two counties, Shelley's phone records and Tyler's home for clues, but nothing solid has come up.
Police have said they believe Shelley is the victim of foul play, but they're uncertain who is responsible for her disappearance.
Detectives said Tyler, her ex-husband, is not cooperating with police, but he has not been named a suspect. Investigators said items found inside the vehicle are being analyzed by the TBI (Tennessee Bureau of Investigations) The family is offering a $10,000 reward for 'information leading to the return' of Mook according to posters being distributed throughout the area.
