Vincent L Gartner Went Missing In North Bend Washington in January 1980

Last seen alive: January 24, 1980

Circumstances: MP was on a pass from the U. S. Coast Guard and left his ship, the USCGC Boutwell on Thursday, 1/24/1980. He rented showshoes in Seattle and left his motorbike at the Greyhound Bus Depot. It was thought that he was going to Snoqualmie Pass. When he did not return as scheduled on the following Sunday, searches were conducted at both Snoqualmie and Stevens Passes. Family has confirmed that he was never located and his remains have never been found.
