Circumstances: Sean Ryan of California was last seen at a friend's home in the Fern Acres subdivision in upper Puna on Aug. 12.
Sean has lived on Oahu for the past four years, but before that he spent a year on Kona. We were in the process of moving to Colorado because he was just diagnosed with bi-polar. He stopped taking his medicine and went into a manic episode, which includes delusions, hallucinations, and paranoia. While visiting friends in Puna (Fern Acres) he went missing. He was last seen in Keeau, on Sunday August 12, but is thought to possibly travel to the 'Drum Circle Beach' the Volcano, or as far as Kona where he lived before. He may be lost, or just avoiding being found for reasons related to his condition. If you speak to him he will probably talk about Jujitsu, doing 'Stunts', or ideas relating to spirituality.
