Circumstances: Yosuke Onishi is a Japanese national who was traveling the United States alone or with temporary companions. He came to this area during the winter, with the intent to climb Mt St Helens and stayed the night at the Lone Fir Resort. Yosuke borrowed snowshoes from the resort, but was otherwise ill prepared to make a climb. He was last seen as a passenger in a gray four door car heading toward Mt. St. Helens. Yosuke has not been heard from since that time.
